This statement sets out the policy of BG & MG Enterprises Pty Ltd ABN 79 147 418 559 ("Finance Concepts") relating to the privacy and security of your personal information. It discloses our practices for collecting, using and disclosing personal information.

We take seriously our responsibility for protecting your privacy and the confidentiality of your personal information. As part of our business we are committed to providing a number of services to our customers. To provide these services it is necessary for us to collect, store and use personal information. We will only deal with personal information in the ways described in this policy.

We collect most personal information from customers directly. The type of information we collect will generally include names, contact details, date of birth, income and financial details, employment details, credit record and transaction history. Information collected from you will be used for the provision and offering of our services.

We do not generally collect information that is "sensitive personal information" as defined by the Privacy Act 1988 (Commonwealth). We do not disclose sensitive personal information to third parties without the specific permission or at the instruction of the individual concerned.

When information is sourced from third parties, wherever possible this will be done with your authorization. Where this is not possible we will tell you when such information is collected.

Related purposes may include our own market analysis, informing customers about new products or services and detecting and preventing fraud and other criminal activity.

We will use personal information we collect from you for direct marketing of our own products or products that are available through us. You can opt out of our direct marketing by notifying us.

Because we respect your right to privacy, we do not sell or rent the information gathered from you. If you provide us with your email address, we will record your email address, but will only use it for the purpose for which it was provided. It will not be disclosed without your consent.

Except where required by law, we only disclose personal information to third parties with your consent. We do not disclose names and addresses to third parties for their own use and in particular we do not disclose names and addresses to third parties for their direct marketing.

If our business is outsourced to third party contractors, such as mailing houses and information technology professionals, we will ensure that these parties are bound by confidentiality and non-disclosure agreements. Information provided to these parties remains our property and is only used for the specific purpose for which it is supplied and on completion it is returned to us. Information provided to contractors must be returned to us and the contractor must agree to destroy any copies they have made.
